“A man’s experiences of life are a book.  There was never yet an uninteresting life.  Such a thing is an impossibility.  Inside the dullest exterior there is a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy.”

This reflects, and maybe was the genesis for C.S. Lewis’ epic quote about human nature:  “There are no ordinary people.  You have never talked to a mere mortal”

Maybe if we started there as individuals, we’d move much slower to hate, vitriol, and violence.  The person you most strongly disagree with, and tragically try to silence them, are a dramatic Oscar-worthy screenplay of life.  Start by listening and being amazed by the extraordinary person in front of you.
