Wednesday History Note: Daniel Webster

“Man is a special being, and if left to himself, in an isolated condition, would be one of the weakest creatures; but associated with his kind, he works wonder.”

Webster was one of our greatest politicians, leading the Congress from both the House and Senate from 1813 and 1850. He is considered one of the greatest orators in our national history and he understood perfectly well how much we need one another.
