I read this in John Ortberg’s book Soul Keeping. Willard is speaking to the topic I wrote about a few weeks ago, “Speed and Pace.” We want to find wisdom, money, insight, power or fame and we want to find it now. My students are often guilty of this….”can’t I just do a few things for you, quickly, and then have you give me course credit.” Willard is nailing the point that a slower pace is for our best.
