“And this is God’s [mysterious] plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the good news share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.”

 

Paul, writing to the church in the city of Ephesus, in modern day Turkey, is attempting to help people understand what exactly Jesus was doing.  Earlier in the letter, he introduced this concept of a “mysterious plan” and states that it is a “plan regarding Christ.”   It is a plan about “the good news that God saves you…when you believe in Christ….”

 

As we head toward Holy Week, remember that God does have a master plan for His Kingdom.  It can involve you if you wish it to.  You just have to ask.  And, if any of this raises questions in  your mind, message me privately so we can talk about it.
